Job Description:
This is a customer reception role at a famous hitsumabushi (ひつまぶし) eel restaurant established in the Meiji era, located on the restaurant floor of Matsuzakaya Nagoya department store in Sakae, Nagoya. Duties consist of three tasks only: greeting arriving guests, confirming their name, and informing them of waiting times and expected seating times — no sales, no hall service, and no register operation involved. Shifts are available in morning-to-lunch (10:15-14:30) or evening (16:00-20:15) blocks of 4 hours each, with no overtime; weekdays only, Tuesday closed, and Saturday-Sunday-holidays off except during peak seasons. A welcoming role well-suited to those returning from a career break, with full training from senior staff and ongoing support available. The workplace is directly connected to Yabacho Station on the Nagoya subway, making commuting highly convenient.
