Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Eijin (炎神), a popular ramen restaurant in Susukino, central Sapporo, located in the basement of Yoshida Building on South 5th Street. Orders are handled entirely via a ticket vending machine (食券制 shokken-sei), so there is no cashier work — just collect the ticket, serve tea and ramen, add toppings, wash dishes, and keep the dining area clean. As you settle in you can take on more tasks such as boiling noodles; full training is provided and 80% of staff started with no experience. Three shift blocks are available within the 10:30-23:00 window: lunch (10:30-15:30), dinner (17:00-21:00), or evening (17:00-23:00), with a minimum of 4 hours per shift and as few as 1 day per week. A weekend and public holiday bonus (土日祝ボーナス doyou-nichiyou-shuku-bonasu) of 500 yen per lunch or dinner shift, or 1,000 yen for a full day, is paid directly. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are free and all-you-can-eat — ramen and pork rice bowls are always available, and the manager occasionally cooks specials. Hair colour, nail art, piercings, and beards are all permitted. Shifts between 22:00 and 05:00 are restricted to applicants aged 18 and over (Japanese labour law, ministerial ordinance category 2).
Wage:
1,075円 (per hour)
Base rises to 1,150 yen after 200 hours worked. Weekend and public holiday bonus: 500 yen per lunch or dinner shift, 1,000 yen for full-day shift. Busy-season bonus (year-end, Snow Festival, Golden Week etc.): 1,000-3,000 yen per day based on sales. Daily sales bonus: 1,000-2,000 yen on high-revenue days. Salary increase system based on experience.
