Job Description:
Hall and kitchen work at Komeda Coffee in Tennodai, Abiko, a full-service coffee house chain that began in Nagoya. Hall duties are showing customers to their seats, taking orders, serving dishes and clearing tables. Kitchen duties are making coffee and other drinks and preparing light meals, including the signature Shironoir dessert. Senior staff support you closely, so people with no experience can learn proper coffee house hospitality from the start. Shifts fall between 06:00 and 23:45 with a minimum of four hours a day and two days a week. Weekend and public holiday only patterns are accepted, and the schedule works well around school or family commitments. High school students are accepted, and the uniform with its beret, headscarf and maroon apron is part of the appeal for first-time workers. The interior is calm and warm, with wooden fittings and quiet background music, and promotion to full-time employee is available.
