Job Description:
Cafe service and sweets sales at Pierre Herme Paris in Diamor Osaka, three minutes from Osaka Station. Duties are selling sweets and working the register, serving cafe customers and bringing out menu items, restocking and arranging displays, cleaning the shop, gift wrapping purchases and handling deliveries. The lineup covers macarons, chocolates, cakes and freshly baked madeleines and financiers. Hall or kitchen experience is not required, so people entering the food industry for the first time are welcome as long as they have some customer service background. Shifts fall within 09:30 to 21:30 with eight hours of actual work and a one hour break, examples being 09:30 to 18:30 or 12:30 to 21:30. You work four to five days a week on a rotation that includes Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, with two to three days off a week. Registration is done online by app, web or phone with no need to visit the office, and support is available throughout. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid in full, and staff receive a 10 percent shopping discount voucher for Daimaru Matsuzakaya department stores.
