Job Description:

Guest room cleaning at Hotel Lotus Modern Kyoto, three minutes from Takeda Station. Rooms are always handled by teams of three, with the work split between you so you can focus on your own part. Duties include vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, making the beds neatly and restocking towels, shampoo and other amenities. The hotel has just fully reopened after renovation, so a lot of people are starting at the same time. Around 93 percent of staff started with no experience, and the training is thorough enough for people returning after a career break. Staff range from their twenties to their sixties, with many homemakers, freeters and seniors. Two fixed time bands are available, 10:00 to 17:00 and 17:00 to 24:00, from 3 days a week and 3 to 4 hours a day. A trial shift is available first if you are unsure, and no resume is needed for the interview.

Wage:

1,200円 (per hour) Shifts from 22:00 are paid at 25 percent above the base rate with late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate). Training period (研修 kenshuu) of 3 months is paid at 1,122円 per hour. Pay raises given at any time based on performance and ability. Overtime allowance is paid.
