Job Description:
This is a kitchen cooking assistance role at a special nursing home (特別養護老人ホーム 青空) in Ashikaga City, Tochigi, providing meal preparation and support for elderly residents. Tasks include food preparation, portioning meals, dishwashing, and cooking assistance — the chef handles main cooking while this role provides essential support to ensure residents enjoy varied, seasonal menus including special event meals. The shift runs 11:00 to 20:00, covering both lunch preparation and dinner service, with the exact hours negotiable. Weekend and holiday shifts are welcome. The role is operated by Aim Services, a large food service management company, with structured onboarding including customer care and hygiene safety training from day one. Advance payment (前払い maebarai) is available for shifts worked from January 2026 onward (subject to conditions). The workplace has a family-friendly scheduling policy — those with young children can start at 3 days a week and short hours, increasing gradually as children grow. A point reward scheme is in place: points are earned through long service, birthdays, and staff referrals and can be exchanged for food, electronics, and other gifts.
