Job Description:

This is a convenience store (コンビニ konbini) staff role at FamilyMart Urawa Eki Kita, located 30 seconds walk from Urawa Station's north exit in a station-front building — one of the most accessible locations in the area. Available shifts are: early morning 05:00-09:00, morning 08:00-13:00, afternoon 13:00-17:00, evening 17:00-22:00, and overnight 22:00-08:00 (overnight); flexible combinations within these blocks are open to discussion. Duties include register operation and customer service, shelf stocking and product display, store cleaning, and product ordering; as skills develop, staff take on floor merchandising and section management tailored to their strengths. A late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 1,438円 per hour applies to hours worked between 22:00 and 05:00 on the overnight shift (statutory 1.25x rate). A standard 30-day FamilyMart training (研修 kenshuu) period applies; SSTサブトレーナー (SST Sub-Trainer, intermediate) qualification holders receive a 50円 per hour wage addition on top of the standard rate. A sister store in Atré Urawa mall is also available for additional shifts at 980円 per hour. Transport costs are covered within company guidelines; bicycle commuting is permitted with nearby bicycle parking available and a commuting supplement provided. Staff promotion to full-time employment is available — past arubaito staff have already made the transition.
