Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at タカマル鮮魚店4号館 (Takamaru Senkaten Building 4), a popular fresh seafood izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) in Nishi-Shinjuku, currently being fully renovated with a new second floor — the restaurant is well known on social media for impactful fish dishes and occasional tuna-cutting shows in the dining room. Hall duties cover welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and clearing tables; kitchen duties involve cooking assistance and dishwashing — no prior restaurant experience is needed as tasks are taught from the first shift. The shift runs within the 10:00-23:00 window; a minimum of 2 hours per shift is accepted from 1 day per week, with maximum flexibility including weekend-only and weekday-only arrangements. Weekday base rate is 1,230円 per hour; weekend and public holiday busy-period rate rises to 1,400円 per hour (170円 uplift); a deep-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies from 22:00, bringing the effective rate to 1,538円 (weekday) or 1,750円 (weekend) for that final hour of the shift. Free staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided; hair colour, nails, and piercings are all freely allowed; no resume is required at interview. Transport costs are covered in full up to 20,000円 per month; salary increases are available at any time and some staff have reached 1,700円 per hour based on performance.

Wage:

1,230円 (per hour) Weekend and public holiday busy-period rate: 1,400円/hr (+170円). Deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 1,538円/hr weekday / 1,750円/hr weekend for 22:00-23:00 hours (statutory 1.25x rate). Salary increase available at any time; some staff have reached 1,700円/hr.
