Job Description:
This is a convenience store (コンビニ konbini) staff role at FamilyMart Matsudo Kamishiki, a 3-minute walk from Higashi-Matsudo Station on the JR Musashino Line, along Prefectural Route 51 in Matsudo, Chiba. Work covers the full range of convenience store operations: cashier service, product ordering (発注 hacchou), shelf merchandising, and store cleaning. Three shift slots are available: early morning (06:00-10:00), daytime and evening (10:00-22:00), and overnight (22:00-06:00); the overnight shift crosses midnight and attracts the statutory deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate), bringing the rate to 1,500 yen per hour for hours worked between 22:00 and 05:00. A 30-day training (研修 kenshuu) period applies; the store describes a thorough one-on-one onboarding approach, with existing staff trained to support newcomers patiently from their own experience of starting out. The store has an approachable, family-like atmosphere and welcomes students, homemakers, seniors, and those working a second job. High school students are welcome for shifts ending by 22:00; late-night shifts from 22:00 to 05:00 are available to applicants aged 18 and over only, as required by Japanese labour law.
