Job Description:

This is a sales and cooking assistance role at a premium meat specialty counter inside Kyoto Takashimaya department store, directly connected to Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station. The store handles carefully selected Matsusaka beef and Japanese black wagyu, selling products such as handmade hamburgers and roast beef as well as fresh cuts by weight. Duties include mixing and forming ground meat for hamburger patties, over-the-counter meat sales and weighing, and register operation. Both sales and cooking roles are involved in each shift, making this a good fit for those who want variety rather than a single task. Basic home-cooking level experience is sufficient; some prior customer service, retail or register experience is preferred. Shifts run 8 hours within the 09:00-20:00 window on a rotating schedule four to five days per week including weekends. Workers in their 50s are active here.
