Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Sumibiyakiniku Gyutatsu, a popular charcoal-grilled yakiniku (焼肉 yakiniku) restaurant one minute walk from Kasai Station in Tokyo, with over 30 years of history in the local community. Hall duties include seating guests, serving food and drinks, and handling payment; kitchen duties include cooking, preparation, plating and dishwashing — you are assigned to the role that best suits you. Shifts run from 15:00 to 22:00 (evening), with an additional late-night slot from 22:00 to 23:00 for those aged 18 and over. A late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies from 22:00, raising the rate to 1,500 yen per hour — note this is slightly below the standard statutory calculation. Pay is in cash (手渡し tewatashi). Break time is paid at the full hourly rate. A weekend attendance bonus of 5,000 yen is paid for 100% Saturday/Sunday/holiday attendance, and 3,000 yen for 80% attendance (company rules apply). Free staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided daily. Hair colour, style, nail polish, piercings and beards are all permitted.
