Job Description:

Work as hall staff at Fuji Shoku-do (ふじ食堂), a newly renovated Japanese set-meal restaurant specialising in Shakotan seafood cuisine in Bikuni, Shakotan-cho, Hokkaido. The store has recently relaunched from a buffet format to a traditional teishoku (定食 teishoku) and zen (お膳) set-meal style. Duties include greeting and seating guests, serving meals and clearing tables, dishwashing, and store cleaning; register and phone operation for experienced staff. Orders are placed by customers via tablet or QR code, so you rarely need to take orders verbally at the table. Two shift options are available: full-day 10:00-20:00 or half-day 10:00-15:00, six days a week. No experience required; a staff member will guide you through all tasks from day one. Staff meals (まかない makanai) and staff discount (社内割引) provided. Staff dormitory available (subject to consultation). Season runs approximately late April through end of October.

Wage:

1,200円 (per hour) Rate range 1,200円-1,300円 depending on experience. High school student rate from 1,100円/hour (research period from 1,080円/hour).
