Job Description:

This is a kitchen support role at a lively izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) specialising in grilled seafood dishes. You will assist with plating, prep work, frying, and grilling in a structured kitchen environment that rewards growth with regular pay rises. Shifts are flexible using a weekly shift-submission system (シフト制 shifuto-sei), making it easy to balance study, a second job, or family commitments. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for just 200 yen per meal. A 40-hour training period (研修 kenshuu) is provided, and each task comes with a tutorial video so beginners can get up to speed quickly. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) and weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) are both available on request. Late-night shifts from 22:00 onward are restricted to applicants aged 18 and over (Japanese labour law). Minimum contract period of 3 months required.
