Job Description:
This is a cafe kitchen staff position at a chocolate specialty cafe on Sanjo Street in central Kyoto, accessible from Karasuma-Oike Station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway. You will prepare parfaits — adding toppings, scooping ice cream, and piping cream — cut and plate fresh fruit, cook pasta, prepare sauces and meat sauce from scratch or via reheating, and wash dishes using a dishwasher with some hand washing. Knife work is involved, and recipes are followed using written notes and reference photos, making it accessible for those without professional kitchen experience. Two shift options are available — early (09:00-18:00) or late (11:30-20:30), each with 1 hour break — and working early shifts only or late shifts only can be arranged. Actual working hours are flexible between 6 and 8 hours per shift, with overtime under 5 hours per month, and weekday-only scheduling can be discussed. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) and weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) are both available, and no resume is required. Social insurance (社会保険 shakai-hoken) is fully covered, and transportation allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid per company rules.
