Job Description:
This is a hall staff role at Kamadokoro Kojikoji, a casual wood-fired oven restaurant (窯処 kamadokoro) in Kakamigahara, Gifu, known for a loyal regular clientele and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Hall duties include guiding guests, taking orders, serving food, operating the register, and clearing tables. When time allows, you may help with drink preparation, simple plating, and dishwashing. The menu has around 60 items and is designed to be learned within a month, even for complete beginners. Shifts (シフト制 shifuto-sei) are highly flexible — as little as one day a week and two hours per shift is fine, with weekday-only, weekend-only, or mixed schedules all accommodated. Wages are paid directly in cash (手渡し tewatashi) on the day. A training period (研修 kenshuu) of 20 to 100 hours applies at a reduced rate, with experienced restaurant workers typically completing it in around 20 hours. The restaurant also runs a food truck (キッチンカー kitchen car) at festivals and events across Gifu from spring to autumn — those with a standard driving licence (AT permitted) are welcome to get involved. A trial period of 2 to 3 shifts is available before committing long-term.
