Job Description:
This is a hotel restaurant hall role in central Kyoto, 5 minutes walk from either Kyoto-Shiyakusho-Mae Station or Sanjo Station, serving hotel guests and tourists in a stylish restaurant environment. Tasks include welcoming and seating guests, confirming orders, serving and clearing food and drinks, register operation, and table setup — with attentive training provided from the start. The restaurant welcomes a growing number of international guests, making this a good environment for those who want to use or develop language skills in English or other languages. Shift hours change by season: until the end of March the slot is 11:00-16:00 daily; from April the early morning slot (06:30-11:00) runs Monday to Sunday, and the lunch slot (11:00-16:00) runs Saturdays and Sundays only. Working from 3 days a week is possible, with shifts self-submitted — weekdays-only, weekends-only, or a mix are all negotiable. Weekly payment is available, and a staff meal (まかない makanai) may be provided depending on the specific workplace (confirm at interview).
