Job Description:
This is a hospital operating floor cleaning role at a medical facility in Kumiyama-cho, Kyoto, maintaining hygiene and order in surgical areas to the same standards as medical staff. Tasks include cleaning operating rooms (rubbish removal, room wipe-down, floor cleaning), maintaining the floor environment (instrument wipe-down and correct storage), consumable preparation, washing medical instruments by machine and by hand, and returning used equipment to its designated storage location — tasks are divided among team members so no single person handles everything alone. Full protective equipment is provided: mask, goggles, gown, and gloves — with thorough hand-washing and alcohol disinfection protocols in place. There is no direct contact with patients. Two shift options rotate: early (08:00-17:00) and late (12:00-21:00), both weekdays only (Monday to Friday), each with a 1-hour break — applicants who can rotate between both shifts are preferred. A 500-yen daily attendance allowance is paid on top of the base hourly rate, and a salary advance system is available (subject to company rules). Free car and motorbike parking is available on site; bicycle commuting is also possible.
