Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff position at Marugame Seimen Fukuoka Kamo, a udon and tempura chain restaurant in Sawara-ku, Fukuoka City, right outside Exit 1 of Kamo Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Nanakuma Line. Duties cover customer greeting, udon cooking assistance, tempura and onigiri preparation, cashier work, dishwashing (洗い場 araiba), and store cleaning — tasks are divided so you can start from the role that suits you best. A weekly shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) is in place with shifts from as little as 3 hours a day and 2 days a week; weekday-only and weekend-only arrangements are both available. Note that weekday hours run 08:00-18:00 while Saturday and Sunday hours extend to 24:00 — shifts after 22:00 attract a deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25%, available to applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). A staff meal (まかない makanai) is available for just 120円 per meal up to 800円 worth of food, and a family dining card covers up to 10,000円 per month per child for employees with children aged 15 or under. No prior experience is required — step-by-step training (研修 kenshuu) and a complete recipe manual are provided. A minimum contract period of 3 months applies.

Wage:

1,200円 (per hour) Late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 25% increase after 22:00 on weekend shifts. Salary increases based on performance with a clear progression system. Bonus system available.
