Warehouse picking, sorting, and packing role at a distribution center in Hamacho, Funabashi City, Chiba, handling toys, daily goods, and small home electronics (products typical of a major electronics retailer), placed through staffing agency Grop. Picking involves reading a handheld barcode scanner or smartphone terminal, locating the specified product, and placing the correct quantity into a container; sorting separates products by delivery destination; packing fills boxes with goods and cushioning material for dispatch. No experience or special skills are required — tasks are taught carefully from day one, and the agency holds a registration briefing where you can ask questions at your own pace before starting. The base hourly rate is 1,410 yen from October through November, rising to 1,500 yen from December 2026 through January 2027 for the busy year-end season; overtime beyond 8 hours or hours worked between 22:00 and 05:00 attract a 25% premium (1,763-1,875 yen). A daily payment system (希望日払い制度) is available through the agency for urgent cash needs — this differs from standard daily pay; confirm the details at the registration briefing.
