Job Description:

This is a hall staff role at Torikamome, a cozy 24-seat creative izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) specialising in chicken, duck, and noodle dishes in Kita-ku, Nagoya, 5 minutes walk from Ozone Station. Hall duties include taking orders, serving food and drinks, clearing tables, and handling takeout payments; as you become comfortable, light kitchen support is also added to your tasks. The open kitchen and semi-private counter seating create a relaxed, neighbourhood feel attracting local regulars and after-work diners — guests who enjoy conversation are particularly welcome. Two shift slots are available: a lunch slot (10:30-14:30) and an evening slot (16:00-23:30); a minimum of 4 hours per shift and 2 days per week is required, with full-time schedules of 5 days or more also warmly welcomed. Friday from 17:00 and all day Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays earn an additional 100 yen per hour (1,400 yen and above), and a late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies from 22:00. Cash-in-hand wage payment (手渡し tewatashi) is available, and staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided — those working a double shift receive two meals. Independent restaurant support is available for those with longer-term career ambitions in the food and beverage industry. A photo resume is required at the interview.

Wage:

1,300円～ (per hour) Training period rate: 1,195 yen per hour for the first 100 hours (extendable for experienced staff). Friday from 17:00 and Saturday, Sunday, public holiday bonus: 1,400 yen per hour and above (100 yen increase). Late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 25% increase from 22:00 onwards. Salary increase available based on performance.
