Job Description:

This is a hotel room cleaning and bed making role at Smart Place Inn Hakata Gion, a design-award-winning boutique hotel in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, just 4 minutes walk from Gion Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Kuuko Line. Duties include bed making and linen arrangement (ベッドメイキング beddomeikingu) and room cleaning to keep the newly built interior looking its best — the hotel is still in its early years, so the work is less about deep cleaning and more about maintaining an already pristine standard. All work is done independently room by room with minimal guest contact or pressure, and there are no customer service targets or English language skills required. The shift runs from 11:00 to 15:00 — a clean 4-hour morning-to-afternoon block that starts late enough to keep your morning routine intact and finishes in time for afternoon commitments, second jobs, or family duties. A minimum of 2 days per week is required, with flexible day selection and shifts discussed by arrangement; the number of days can be increased as you settle in. Appearance is completely free — hair colour, nails, piercings, accessories, and facial hair are all accepted, which is unusual for the hotel industry. The entire interview process can be completed online in around 15 minutes, and promotion to a full-time hotel employee is actively encouraged.

Wage:

1,150円～ (per hour) Salary increase available based on performance (昇給 shoukyuu). Training period rate is the same as the base rate (120-hour training period).
