Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen role at a hybrid Japanese dining restaurant in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, just 1 minute walk from Shijo Station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line, placed through a staffing agency as a temp-to-perm assignment (紹介予定派遣 shoukai yotei haken). The restaurant operates as a soba lunch counter by day (100-yen buckwheat noodles) and transforms into a creative Kyoto-ingredient izakaya in the evening, welcoming both local regulars and tourists including international guests. Hall duties include seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and cashier operations; kitchen duties include plating and cooking support — a full-time employee is always on site to answer questions and support new starters. The shift is approximately 8 hours per day, 5 days per week including weekends and public holidays on a rotation, with flexible start times ranging from 11:00 to 14:00, allowing a relaxed morning before heading to work. After a minimum 6-month dispatch period, conversion to direct employment as a full-time employee is possible by mutual agreement — starting monthly salary from 210,000 yen with bonuses and annual salary increases.
