Job Description:
Kyushu Ninjo Sakaba Uoboshi (九州人情酒場 魚星) is a Kyushu-style seafood izakaya chain operated by Chimney Co., Ltd.; this branch is on the second floor of Sengendai Park Plaza, just 1 minute on foot from the east exit of Sengendai Station. This is a back-of-house kitchen support role with no customer contact — ideal for those who prefer quiet, focused work over front-of-house service. You will start with plating and dishwashing (洗い場 araiba), then gradually learn vegetable cutting and prep (仕込み shikomi), cooking assistance for fried and grilled items, food stock management, and kitchen cleaning. Training (研修 kenshuu) runs for 40 hours with step-by-step instructional videos for each task; a 5-grade skill assessment system drives monthly salary reviews. The shift window runs from 14:00 to 01:00 the following morning; you choose a block of 3 or more hours within that window on as few as 1 day per week, and the schedule is submitted weekly 10 days in advance.
