Job Description:

This is a kitchen cooking staff position at an izakaya restaurant in central Nara, a 5-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station. Core duties involve general cooking (調理 chouري), including preparing dashi stock and breaking down whole fish — those with fish filleting skills are particularly welcome, though beginners can learn from scratch. The workplace is a lively izakaya serving good food and drinks, equipped with a staff rest room, canteen, and air conditioning throughout. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided, and a uniform (制服 seifuku) is lent free of charge. An advance payment (前払い maebarai) system is available — you can receive a portion of wages already earned before your scheduled payday, subject to company rules and a possible handling fee. Hair colour is completely free, and coloured contacts and eyelash extensions are also permitted. There is a proven track record of regular staff conversion (正社員登用 seishain-touyou), with the shortest path being 2 months in.
