Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Marugame Seimen (丸亀製麺) in Otaru, Hokkaido, located along National Route 17 near Minami-Otaru Station. Work is divided across clearly defined positions: greeting and serving customers, udon boiling and topping, tempura frying, cashier operation, dishwashing (using a dishwasher — shokushouki), and dining area tidying. You can choose the position that suits your strengths — whether you enjoy cooking, talking with people, or cleaning — and thorough step-by-step training (研修 kenshuu) is provided so beginners and those returning after a break can start with confidence. Shifts are submitted weekly and can be as short as 2 hours a day and 2 days a week, making it easy to fit around school, family commitments, or a second job. A 3-month minimum contract period (契約期間3ヶ月以上 keiyaku-kikan sankagetsu ijou) applies. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for just 120 yen per meal, covering up to 800 yen of food. Car and bike commuting is permitted, with fuel costs reimbursed per company rules.
