Job Description:
Work at a Yoshinoya gyudon restaurant beside Kintetsu-Yokkaichi Station, covering both floor and kitchen roles. Floor work follows a simple flow of taking orders, serving dishes and handling payment, plus receiving and handing over takeaway orders. Kitchen work involves cooking and plating gyudon and other menu items. You start on the floor during a 2 month training (研修 kenshuu) period at the same hourly rate, then learn kitchen work step by step with a full manual. Early morning staff are especially needed right now, and those hours are calmer than the lunch and evening peaks, with more tidying and restocking than service. Shifts fall between 06:00 and 00:00, with a minimum of 3 hours a day and 2 days a week, and weekend-only or short shifts are possible. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are 70 percent off, takeaway is 30 percent off, and an employee discount of 30 percent applies outside work hours for you and your family. The store is a 1 minute walk from Kintetsu-Yokkaichi Station, and a rank-up system reviews pay monthly.
Wage:
1,200円 (per hour)
Late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 25 percent increase after 22:00, up to 1,500円 per hour. Monthly salary reviews under the cast rank-up system, with average increases of 10 to 50円 per review based on last year. Allowances paid according to rank.
