Job Description:
Hall work and light cooking assistance at a seafood grill izakaya inside the Yataimura food alley in Utsunomiya. Duties include seating customers, taking orders, serving food, making drinks, simple cooking help and handling the bill. Once you are used to the work you will also demonstrate how to eat shellfish for customers, and staff will teach you how first. Customers often ask what is good today, so there is real conversation with guests. The manager sources ingredients from Tsukiji, and staff meals (まかない makanai) can be made to order, from seafood dishes to pasta. Shifts run between 17:00 and 24:00 for 3 to 6 hours, and people who can work Friday and Saturday are especially welcome. Hair colour and piercings are free, though a clean appearance is asked for as this is a restaurant. Wages are paid in cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi).

1,300円～1,600円 (per hour)
Shifts from 22:00 are paid at 1,600円 per hour. Trial period starts at 1,100円 per hour and moves up to 1,300円 once you can handle the work. Pay raises available.
