Job Description:
This is an evening hall staff role at やきとり工房 (Yakitori Kobo) Hon-Atsugi, a lively yakitori izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) just 1 minute walk from Hon-Atsugi Station, with a young team made up predominantly of local university and high school students. The evening shift covers 16:00 to 22:00; the store intentionally avoids tablet ordering systems so staff engage directly with guests to understand what they want — a hands-on approach that builds real customer service skills. Hall duties include taking hand-written orders, preparing drinks, serving dishes, operating the register, and clearing tables; kitchen work covering dishwashing and simple snack preparation is added as you settle in. A roughly 2-month training (研修 kenshuu) period applies at 1,225円 per hour, after which the standard evening rate of 1,310円 or above takes effect. Pay can be received by cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi); salary increases are available at any time based on ability, and an additional skills allowance is in place. Hair colour is freely allowed (gold and bold colours welcome); no resume is required at interview, which takes around 15 minutes in a relaxed casual setting. Weekend shift availability (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) is preferred but not mandatory; the store is looking to grow its team ahead of the busy season.
