Job Description:

This is a cooking staff role at an unlicensed nursery school (認可外保育園 ninkagai hoikuen) in Tsunashima, Yokohama, just five minutes walk from Tsunashima Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line. Work involves food preparation and cooking, plating, washing and sanitising dishes and equipment, kitchen cleaning, and supporting food education activities (食育 shokuiku) with the children. Shifts run 13:00-17:00 with no break and virtually no overtime, making this ideal for those who want a short, predictable afternoon shift. Weekends and public holidays are fully off, with year-end and new year holidays also provided. Prior professional or home cooking experience is required, including experience with baby food (離乳食 rinyuushoku) preparation; nursery or medical/welfare facility experience is preferred. A regular commute allowance (常勤手当 joukin-teate) of 8,000円/month is added for those working 30 hours or more per week.

Wage:

1,230円～1,440円 (per hour) Regular commute allowance (常勤手当 joukin-teate): 8,000円/month for contracts of 30h/week or more. Transportation allowance up to 30,000円/month. Salary increases available.
