Job Description:

This is a kitchen staff role at chano-ma Okayama, a relaxed Japanese-style cafe (和カフェ wafukafe) known for healthy comfort food including chicken and soy-meat over-rice dishes and keema curry. The cafe features floor seating on mattresses, creating a casual, home-like atmosphere that attracts a steady stream of regulars. Kitchen tasks include plating over-rice dishes (オーバーライス ooba-raisu), prepping keema curry, and assisting with general cafe cooking. No experience is required -- full training (研修 kenshuu) is provided, and beginners are actively welcomed. Weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) is available under the company's rules, and an advance payment (前払い maebarai) system is also offered. Staff enjoy a 30% group discount across 300-plus affiliated restaurant locations nationwide and a staff meal (まかない makanai) benefit. Hair colour and style are largely free-form -- the store accepts bold colours such as red and green provided hair is tied back during shifts.
