Job Description:

This is a hotel room cleaning and bed-making (客室清掃 kyakushitsu seisou) role at Rakuten STAY Hakone Gora, a new unmanned luxury villa facility that opened in April 2026 in the Gora area of Hakone, operated by Rakuten Stay Hospitality. Because the facility is unmanned (非接触型 hisesshoku-gata), work is self-paced and quiet -- ideal for those who prefer to work independently without guest interaction. Tasks include bed-making, bathroom and water-area cleaning, indoor wiping and preparation, outdoor periodic cleaning, and setting and restocking food and drink amenities for arriving guests. Training runs approximately 3 months at 1,250 yen per hour (extendable to 6 months or shortened based on progress); the standard rate rises to 1,400 yen per hour after training, with a further increase to 1,500 yen available through the in-house evaluation system. An advance payment (前払い maebarai) system is available on prior application, and a busy-period bonus of up to 5,000 yen applies for staff working 4 or more days during Obon (8/11-8/16) or Silver Week (9/19-9/23). Small children may accompany staff to the worksite during the 10:00-15:00 window, making this particularly suited to parents with young children. Foreign nationals and international students are welcomed; English ability is not required. The same role is also available at five other nearby Rakuten STAY facilities in the Hakone area.

Wage:

1,250円 (per hour) Training period: 1,250 yen/hour (approx. 3 months, extendable). Standard rate after training: 1,400 yen/hour. Higher rate: 1,500 yen/hour via in-house evaluation. Busy-period bonus: 500 yen/day during Obon or Silver Week; 5,000 yen bonus for 4-plus days worked in each period (2.5 hours minimum per day). Salary increase system available.
