Job Description:
Work in the kitchen at Tsukada Nojo, a popular izakaya known for its Miyazaki jidori chicken sourced directly from contracted farms. Duties include vegetable prep, plating of fried dishes and salads, and charcoal-grilled cooking (sumibiyaki). Training is provided step by step, so no food service experience is needed - you will be shown knife skills and menu knowledge from scratch (kenshuu kenshu). Shifts run 16:00 to 00:30, crossing midnight (overnight), so late-night work is part of the role; workers on shifts after 22:00 must be aged 18 or over (Japanese labour law). A shift system (shiftuto-sei) is used with schedules submitted every two weeks - timing and days are flexible and negotiable. Staff meals (makanai) are provided, and the food here has a strong reputation among the team. Advance payment (mae-barai) of up to 50% of earned wages is available; weekly payment (shuubarai) is also offered.
Wage:
1,200円 (per hour) Training period: 1,100円 (up to 3 months). High school student rate: 1,100円. Salary increases available. Up to 50% advance payment of earned wages.
