Job Description:
Join the opening team at Hamazushi Okayama Nishiichi store, a conveyor belt sushi chain opening in November, located just 4 minutes walk from Bizen-Nishiichi Station in Minami-ku, Okayama. Orders are placed via touchscreen self-order panels at the table — no need to take orders from customers — so floor staff focus on drink service, plate clearing, and cashier duties. Over 90% of current Hamazushi staff started with no prior experience, making this an ideal first job. Shifts span 09:00-00:00 and you can start from just 2 hours a day, 1 day a week. Weekend and public holiday shifts earn an additional 70 yen/hr on top of base pay, and late-night shifts after 22:00 are paid at 1,463 yen/hr (深夜手当 shinya-teate). A wage advance system (前払い maebarai) is available for earned wages. Staff meals are available at 55% off, and the Zensho Group employee benefit programme gives discounts at Sukiya, Hamazushi, and affiliated chains. Note: high school students must finish by 21:00.
