Job Description:
Work as kitchen support staff at a restaurant inside a prestigious hotel in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka, in a calm and well-organised cooking environment. Duties cover teppanyaki (鉄板料理 teppan-ryouri) cooking assistance, kitchen cleaning, and dishwashing (洗い場 araiba). You will begin with support and prep tasks before progressing to full cooking duties as you gain experience. No prior cooking experience is required; thorough training (研修 kenshuu) is provided and the workplace atmosphere is described as relaxed and professional. Experienced cooks are also very welcome and may start on a higher rate. Shifts follow a self-reported schedule (シフト自己申告制 shifuto jiko-shinkoku-sei) within the 05:30-22:00 operating window, making it possible to fit around school, family, or other work. Minimum contract period is 6 months. Weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) is available under company regulations, so you do not need to wait until the end of the month to receive your wages.
