Job Description:

Prepare and cook popular Japanese side dishes (お惣菜 osouzai) and boxed lunches (お弁当 obento) at a well-known deli counter inside Shibuya Tokyu Food Show, 1 minute from Shibuya Station, placed through staffing agency Dimple. Main duties include plating bento boxes and producing simmered dishes such as nikujaga (meat and potato stew), konnyaku stir-fry, and seasonal items — the store's signature sweet-spicy chicken wings alone are cooked in batches of 40 to 50 kg per day. The pace is active and the variety keeps the work engaging — suited to those who prefer to keep moving throughout their shift. Shifts run from 07:00 to 16:00 (8 hours actual work) across 3 to 5 days a week including weekends and public holidays, with 2 to 4 days off per week. Prior cooking experience is required — any culinary background is welcome. A 10% shopping discount at Daimaru and Matsuzakaya department stores is included as a staff benefit.
