Job Description:

This is a convenience store staff role at Lawson Ota Ryumai-cho, a branch of the national Lawson (ローソン) chain located in Ota City, Gunma. Duties cover a wide range of shop floor tasks including cashier work at the register (レジ reji), restocking shelves, product display, light food preparation, and store cleaning. Three shift bands are available: early morning (早朝 souchou) 06:00-09:00, daytime 09:00-17:00, and evening 17:00-22:00; only these bands are currently being recruited for. A shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) applies with a minimum of 3 hours per shift and 3 days per week; weekend-only patterns are accepted. A one-month training (研修 kenshuu) period applies at the same base rate, with experienced staff providing step-by-step support throughout. Long-term, stable work is encouraged, with a path to promotion to full employee or even franchise ownership through Lawson's independence support programme. Car, bicycle, and motorbike commuting are all permitted.
