Job Description:
This is a cooking assistant role at a care home facility in Suruga-ku, Shizuoka, preparing approximately 150 meals per service including breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner. Tasks include cutting ingredients, preparing rice and bread, heating pre-cooked side dishes by hot water bath, plating individual meal trays, and cleaning up between services. Lunch is the most involved service; breakfast and dinner are simple reheating tasks. The kitchen is air-conditioned year-round and the team is small (4 people), with a calm, quiet atmosphere suited to focused independent work (モクモク作業). Shifts run between 05:30 and 18:30; you can choose your preferred fixed time slot from four options. Pay is available as daily payment (日払い hibarai) or weekly payment (週払い shuubarai). Transport allowance is paid in full for commutes over 2km. Staff meals are available for 300 yen per serving. Uniform including polo shirt, apron, and cap is provided free of charge (制服 seifuku). Please bring your own kitchen shoes. Cooking or cooking assistance experience is required; career gaps are welcome and experience level is not an issue.
Wage:
1,400円 (per hour)
Overtime pay applies; 1-2 hours overtime possible daily. Transport allowance paid in full for commutes over 2km (交通費全額支給 koutsuuhi-zengaku-shikyuu, conditions apply). Referral bonus (You & Me bonus) available.
