Job Description:

Assist with cooking at a geriatric health care facility in Hamamatsu, working alongside the facility cooking staff and nutrition management staff. Duties include prepping and cutting ingredients, plating finished dishes, sorting trays for each resident, delivering meals to the rooms, and washing dishes and cooking equipment in the machine. Home cooking experience is useful here, and you can also learn proper cooking skills on the job. Tasks start simple and are matched to your experience, so people with no background and those returning after a break can settle in comfortably. The team is small, and shifts run 3 to 4 days a week with short 3 to 5 hour slots in the afternoon and evening. Saturday and Sunday work is expected as standard. Overtime is almost none at under 10 hours a month, and the hours suit people who need to stay within dependent income limits. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available, and applications are made online with no resume and no office visit.

Wage:
