Job Description:

Hall and kitchen work at Okichan, a seafood sushi izakaya one minute from Koshigaya Station. Every table has a touch panel for ordering, so there is nothing complicated to learn and people with no restaurant experience are fine. Senior staff support you properly rather than leaving you to work things out alone, and the managers here are known for teaching patiently. University students, freeters and homemakers all work here, and hair colour is free. Two shift patterns run, 17:00 to 23:00 and 15:00 to 23:00, from one day a week and four hours a day. You need to be able to work until 23:00 and to cover either Saturday or Sunday. Hours from 22:00 are paid at a 25 percent premium, and there is a pay rise system averaging 5 to 20 yen each time based on how well you pick up the work. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided, a uniform (制服 seifuku) is loaned, transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid and the restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Wage:

1,200円以上 (per hour) Hours from 22:00 are paid at a 25 percent premium. Salary increase available at any time, averaging 5 to 20円 per rise based on last year's record, assessed on how well you have learned the work. High school students receive the same rate. Overtime allowance, late-night allowance, bonus and year-end settlement allowance provided.
