Izakaya Hall & Kitchen Staff Part Time Job at Kokura Station 小倉駅 in Fukuoka 1,200円
Please confirm workplace location, payment method, shifts, and interview conditions directly with the employer before applying.
Job Description:
Hall and kitchen work at Miyabian Kokura, a Japanese izakaya serving fresh fish and sake, newly opened in central Kokura. Hall duties cover seating customers, taking orders and serving dishes, starting simply with a smile and building service skills as regulars start coming back. Kitchen duties begin with prep and simple cooking assistance, with proper training so people who have never held a knife are fine. Once you know the restaurant you can also get involved in training new staff and shaping how the place runs, which is the appeal of joining a new opening. This is the second round of opening staff recruitment, so everyone starts from the same line and learns together in opening training. Free staff meals (まかない makanai) are included, with popular dishes such as sukiyaki. The restaurant opens for dinner service only, 16:00 to 24:00, with shifts from 1 day a week and 3 hours a day set every two weeks. Working 20 or more shifts a month automatically qualifies you for a pay rise.
Wage:
1,200円 (per hour)
Shifts from 22:00 are paid at 1.25 times the base rate with late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate). Working 20 or more shifts a month automatically qualifies for a pay rise, with further raises based on performance. Overtime allowance, paid holidays and bonuses are available.
