Job Description:
Kitchen work at Akashihachi Esaka, a seafood izakaya one minute from Esaka Station. Duties include making drinks, serving dishes, food preparation and plating. No experience is needed and the team is loud, friendly and welcoming, with staff greeting every customer together. Current staff are mainly students and freeters, and the full-time employees are young and easy to talk to. Staff meals (まかない makanai) range from seafood rice bowls to omurice and are popular with everyone, especially people living alone. Shifts run between 11:00 and 23:40, from 1 day a week, with up to 6 hours a day and 60 hours a month, set every two weeks. Lunch-only or dinner-only schedules are both fine, and full-time or late-night work within the rules is also possible. Wages can be taken as daily payment (日払い hibarai) in cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi), and hair colour, nails, beards and piercings are all free.
Wage:
1,400円 (per hour) Late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) brings the rate to 1,750円 per hour. Pay raises available.
