Job Description:
This is a kitchen and hall staff role at 壺天 (Koten) Esaka, a well-regarded kushikatsu (串カツ) specialist restaurant in Suita City, 5 minutes walk from Esaka Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line. The restaurant specialises in creative deep-fried skewers including shrimp and perilla rolls, and consistently earns high ratings on dining review sites. Two shift patterns are available: dinner kitchen/dishwashing 16:30-23:00, and lunch hall service 09:00-14:00; a minimum of 4 hours per shift is accepted from 2 days per week, with weekend and holiday availability welcomed. Kitchen duties cover pre-service ingredient prep, frying skewers as the main task, and kitchen assistance; hall duties include welcoming guests, taking orders, serving, and dishwashing — both roles are guided by senior staff from day one. A 2-month training period applies at 1,200円 per hour (until end of September 2026); the standard rate of 1,250円 or above applies thereafter, with further salary increases based on performance. Free staff meals (まかない makanai) of the restaurant's own kushikatsu are provided — described by staff as outstanding. Pay is handed over in cash (手渡し tewatashi) and full transport costs are covered; hair colour is freely allowed within reasonable limits.
