Job Description:
This is a night-shift logistics sorting role at a Sagawa Express (佐川急便 Sagawa Kyuubin) hub centre in Amagasaki, Hyogo, operated by SGH group staffing company SGFilder. The permanent worksite is the new GLP ALFALINK Amagasaki facility (scheduled to open January 2027); until opening, work takes place at nearby training sites including Konoike Centre in Higashi-Osaka and Osaka Wangan Centre in Osaka. Tasks include pulling parcels from conveyor belts into designated lanes, sorting by destination, loading sorted parcels into delivery boxes or trucks, sorting small items such as envelopes by address, and unloading incoming trucks onto conveyors -- individual items are small and light, making this accessible for those concerned about heavy lifting. The single overnight shift runs from 21:00 to 06:00 (actual working hours 8 hours after a 60-minute break), with the deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applying from 22:00 to 05:00. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available via smartphone from the day after each shift, and weekly and advance payment are also offered. An opening bonus of 5,000 yen applies for staff joining by end of September 2026, with additional continuation bonuses of up to 30,000 yen available through January 2027 based on shifts worked. Hair colour and style are free-form, and the facility includes a staff canteen, convenience store, showers, and a futsal court upon opening. Basic Japanese daily conversation, reading, and writing ability is required.
