Job Description:
Work as hall staff at Hama Ryori Uohan, a traditional Japanese seafood restaurant in central Osaka's Shinsaibashi district, serving fresh natural fish dishes in a calm, refined atmosphere. Duties include customer seating and guidance, order taking, food and drink service, cashier work, and table clearing - straightforward hall service with no English required as almost all guests are Japanese. Shifts run 17:00-22:30 with no overtime, finishing before the last train; Sunday and public holiday closures and long holiday periods (GW, summer, year-end) make this one of the more balanced food service schedules available. A training period of approximately 50 hours at 1,200 yen per hour applies; post-training rate varies from 1,250 yen (2 days/week) to 1,300 yen+ (5 days/week) based on frequency. JLPT N1 or equivalent business-level Japanese fluency is required. Staff meals (makanai) of fresh fish dishes are a strong draw, with takeaway also permitted.
