Job Description:

This is a cooking assistance role at a nursing home in Shizuoka City's Suruga Ward, offering day care (デイサービス), short-stay (ショートステイ), and residential care services. You will help prepare approximately 150 meals per service (breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner), with duties divided by time slot across a small team of four. Tasks include cutting ingredients, preparing rice and bread, reheating pre-cooked dishes by simmering (湯煎 yuse n), plating individual trays, serving meals, and cleaning up before the next service. Lunch is the most involved meal; breakfast and dinner are simpler reheating tasks. The kitchen and facility are fully air-conditioned, and a polo shirt, apron, and hat are provided at no cost (cook shoes required). A subsidised staff lunch is available on-site for 300 yen per meal; free parking is a 1-minute walk away.

Wage:

1,400円 (per hour) Overtime approx. 0-20 hours/month (approx. 0-1 hour per day). Monthly income examples: 270,200 yen (5 days/week), 214,200 yen (4 days/week), 169,400 yen (3 days/week), all including 20 hours overtime.
