Job Description:
Work as hall and kitchen staff at Tori Yaro (鶏ヤロー), a lively izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) specialising in chicken dishes in Shizuoka City. Hall staff take orders, serve food and drinks, and handle the register (レジ reji); kitchen staff start with simple cooking support and take on more as skills develop. The team uses nicknames, making it easy to bond with colleagues and enjoy a friendly working atmosphere. Shifts run from 15:00 to 01:00 (overnight) on regular days, and until 03:00 (overnight) on Fridays, Saturdays, and public holiday eves. A deep-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 1,500円/hour applies from 22:00 onward. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available. Hair colour, piercings, nails, and beards are all permitted. Foreign nationals and international students are actively working here; basic Japanese is sufficient. High school students welcome; late-night hours after 22:00 are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law).
