Job Description:
This is a Japanese sweets sales and service staff position at Tagonotsuki, a wagashi cafe and sweets salon in Gotenba, Shizuoka, 13 minutes walk from Gotenba Station. You will handle face-to-face customer service, shelf stocking, cashier operations, gift wrapping, and stock checks at a spacious and relaxed cafe-style counter selling azuki milk manju, seasonal anmitsu, and other traditional Japanese sweets. Two fixed shift options are available — 09:00-17:00 or 10:15-18:15 (each with 1 hour break) — so all shifts finish by early evening with no late-night work. The store is a cafe-attached sweets salon exclusive to this Tagonotsuki location, giving it a calm, boutique atmosphere quite different from a typical convenience store or chain restaurant. No prior customer service experience is required, and staff support is available whenever questions arise. Free on-site parking is available, making car commuting straightforward. Transportation allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid in full, and social insurance (社会保険 shakai-hoken) is provided.
