Job Description:
Hall and kitchen staff role at Toride Mujin, a lively izakaya restaurant just 3 minutes walk from Toride Station on the Joban Line in Ibaraki. Hall staff handle taking orders, serving dishes, and cashier duties; kitchen staff assist with plating and dishwashing — tasks are kept simple so first-time workers can get started with confidence from day one. Training (研修 kenshuu) begins with greetings and gradually builds up over a 50-hour period, with senior colleagues providing close support throughout at the same hourly rate from day one. Shifts run from 15:00 to 02:00 on a shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei), with a minimum of 4 hours per session; late-night workers staying past 22:00 earn a higher deep-night rate (深夜手当 shinya-teate), reaching up to 1,500 yen per hour. Please note: high school students cannot work this position. Shifts past 22:00 are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). Wages are paid in cash by hand (手渡し tewatashi) and a fixed Tuesday holiday means your schedule is easy to plan around. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at 200 yen, and appearance is fully free — hair colour, nails, piercings, and facial hair are all permitted. No resume needed; apply and get an interview right away.
