Job Description:
This is a cooking support and dishwashing position at a major company and bank staff canteen in Shin-Koyasu, Yokohama, close to Shin-Koyasu Station. Duties involve cooking assistance such as chopping toppings (green onions for soba, tomatoes for salads), food preparation, counter service, and dishwashing — basic knife skills are a plus but special cooking qualifications are not required. The shift is fixed at 09:45-14:30 every working day, finishing in time for school pick-up or afternoon family commitments, and the schedule is set in advance making it easy to plan your week. The workplace has staff from their 20s through to their 60s all working together in a supportive team environment — emergency family leave is accommodated without issue, and there is no mandatory retirement age, making long-term employment realistic.
