Job Description:

This is a counter sales role at a popular colourful ice cream shop originating from Okinawa, located in the heart of Sakae, Nagoya's main shopping and entertainment district, placed through staffing company Dimple. Your duties include taking orders from customers, scooping ice cream into rounds (the technique is easy to pick up with a little practice), handling the register, and restocking and ordering products. The workplace is lively and predominantly staffed by those in their teens and 20s, making it a sociable and energetic environment. Shifts run from midday through to the evening (12:00-21:00) under a shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei); during busy summer periods, shifts may extend to 23:00. Weekends and public holidays are included in the shift schedule — applicants must be available for some weekend work. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is fully covered, and a 10% discount at Daimaru Matsuzakaya department stores is provided as a staff benefit. High school graduate or above is required.
